I am passionate about the positive impact Pilates can have on overall health and well-being.
Whether it's pre/post op, rehabilitation, injury prevention, strength and conditioning or general fitness and well-being - I love to design my sessions to your individual needs.
Pilates is a low impact, whole body exercise system appropriate for everyone aged from 10 -100. Pilates originally named “ Contrology” is a series of controlled and progressive movements that develop and strengthen the core, increase flexibility, mobility, coordination and balance to support and maintain everyday activities, sport and an overall healthy lifestyle.
Designed by Joseph Pilates in the early part of the 20th century, Pilates focuses on engaging mind and body together by coordinating movement and breathing. This focus on mind and body movement aligns your body’s overall structure and supports your joints enabling you to flow more freely between exercises and everyday activities. It is also extremely therapeutic helping to reduce stress and clear your mind.
My online classes are an excellent way to join the Pilates family, whether you're working at a computer all day or running about after children there is something for everyone.
